Build Your First Working Web App MVP With AI

Turn an idea into a real, working web app without learning how to code. I'll show you the simple process I use to take an idea, define the MVP, create a PRD with AI, build it in Lovable, test it, and get it live.

Short. Practical. Beginner-friendly.

Not theory

I Learned This By Building.

I'm not teaching this from the sidelines. I've used AI-assisted development to take multiple software ideas from concept to live product—each one below was built by me with Lovable.

You've Got the Idea. Let's Get It Out of Your Head.

  • You have an app or dashboard idea but no idea where to start
  • You're not a traditional developer
  • You want to use AI to build something real
  • You keep making the idea too complicated
  • You want something functional you can actually use and test
  • You want to understand the AI-assisted building process before tackling anything bigger

This course teaches you to build an MVP foundation—not a fully developed commercial SaaS company.

We're Starting With a Dashboard.

Instead of trying to build a complicated SaaS platform as a first project, you'll build a genuinely useful web-based dashboard—one you can open in a desktop browser, on your phone, or on a tablet.

  • Business dashboard
  • Revenue tracker
  • Fitness tracker
  • Content planner
  • Project tracker
  • Client dashboard
  • Homeschool tracker
  • Goal tracker

The dashboard is the teaching project. The process is the transferable skill.

Curriculum

Four lessons. That's it.

Lesson 1

Turn Your Idea Into an MVP

  • Identify the problem
  • Identify the user
  • Determine the core functionality
  • Separate "must have" from "later"
  • Stop trying to build the final product first

OutcomeI know exactly what I'm building—and what I'm NOT building yet.

Lesson 2

Create Your PRD With AI

  • What a PRD (Product Requirements Document) actually is
  • Using ChatGPT, Claude, or another capable AI assistant
  • Requirements, features, and user flows
  • Pages and data requirements
  • Basic design direction
  • Your initial Lovable instructions
  • A reusable PRD prompt template you keep

OutcomeI have clear instructions for what I'm about to build.

Lesson 3

Build, Test & Know When to Stop

  • Creating the Lovable project
  • Giving Lovable your initial instructions
  • Using built-in cloud/backend capabilities where appropriate
  • Reviewing what got generated and requesting changes
  • Iterating and testing core workflows
  • Fixing bugs
  • Knowing when an MVP is good enough to test with real people

OutcomeI have a working MVP someone can actually use and test.

Lesson 4

Publish Your MVP

  • Publishing through Lovable
  • Using the provided URL first if you want
  • Connecting a custom domain
  • Testing the live version on desktop and mobile
  • Sharing with your first users
  • Collecting feedback

OutcomeMY MVP IS LIVE.

We're Keeping This Simple On Purpose.

This course does not cover:

  • Stripe / payment integration
  • Advanced payment systems
  • Native mobile apps
  • Apple App Store submission
  • Google Play submission
  • RevenueCat
  • Advanced custom authentication
  • Advanced Supabase configuration
  • Complex API integrations
  • Enterprise infrastructure

Those things can come later. Once you understand how to define, build, test, and publish an MVP, you have the foundation for adding more. If you later need payments, you can add Stripe to the product you already built—but you don't need it to learn the core process.

Get Version One Into the World.

What's included.

  • Short video lessons
  • Reusable AI / PRD prompt
  • Example finished dashboard PRD
  • MVP planning checklist
  • Build & test checklist
Nachole Johnson

I'm Nachole.

I'm a Family Nurse Practitioner, author, entrepreneur, and product builder. I didn't start as a traditional software developer.

I learned AI-assisted development by building real products—breaking things, fixing them, launching them, marketing them, and doing it again. Most of the software products in my portfolio were built by me using Lovable.

Prompt to Product teaches the simplified process I wish I'd had when I started.
